Breathe

Insights-iconAll things breathe in some fashion. When they do, they add their life and send out what they don’t need. This vitality is around us in so many forms. The world is saturated in life; many we recognize as such and some we don’t. Being alive, the world breathes too and breathes in the Universe. For us, this becomes the air we breathe.

This in turn means that each breath we take also partakes of the Universe. We breathe in the Universe every time we understand that life resides all around us and that the breaths we take, hold the energy of consciousness. This is because each life has added themselves as they took in what they needed and in giving back, a small part of themselves entered the currents. As we breathe, we add to that consciousness with our own. When it enters our body we are able to shape it. It is in the shaping that we vitalize the breath. We can give any shape to it that we might need, but first that energy must be passed through the heart to give our life to it.

As we breathe, we bring life to ourselves and give life back to the world. As breath comes through the heart we determine what it will do for us and what we will give back. It is emotion that gives meaning to everything, just as it is the thinking part that analysizes. However, analysing does not give vitality. It is emotion that imbues life.

Spirit equals courage. Courage equals core. Core equals heart and within this place, our frame of reference for reality resides. This means we must also be mindful of pride and wrath; there is a place for both, but where we place them and therefore use them is what we must temper with caution. Their purpose is for when there is great injustice and having the strength to either overcome that injustice or to tear it down. The greater power is to overcome both the injustice and  the rage within ourselves because of the injustice.

Just as pain can push us to the edge of ourselves and onwards to a place beyond, so too can the overcoming: One can create incandesence within us leading to the the first unity, the other brings us to the second unity. Where the first unity is like a bright whiteness, the second unity is like a soft darkness. Both are unity, however our experience is of aspects. This second unity is a place of deep calm and reserves and from here we are able to truly think. Within the first unity, we focus on what will be created, but within the second unity we focus on what has been and in this gain insight into all things.

Our hearts are our genius. We are to be the guardian of all that passes through it, for in doing so, we guard the world. It is our true generative power from which all our fruits flow. All the children we birth into this world are conceived here, be they ideas, or another person. Their nature also comes from here: Emotion drives thoughts, thoughts drive words and words drive actions and these inform the child. All the words we use to describe the good, the bad and the neutral we experience in the world are created within the heart and from these words we create reality and words are made of breath.
