Here’s another computer term that’s relevant: P.E.B.K.A.C. – Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair. Let’s just say that that one refers to personal accountability and responsibility. It also means that whatever you chose, whether to do nothing, to be a garbage influence, or to put your heart back into the system, YOU will affect the whole with that choice. And yes, putting your heart back into the system is a risk, but so are the other choices:

1) Doing (notice the action there) nothing is the same as no motion. Wreaks havoc on the whole system.
2) Being a garbage influence is the same as losing your humanity, making you stupid and the system will not make any sense. This is the choice many make.
3) Putting your heart into the system creates miracles. It moves not only mountains, but moves the immovable, like entire bureaucracies. Just ask any activist. It is the least risk. It is also the least chosen.
