  1. Vision

pillars-iconVision is something that resides within as well as without and it has been said that which can be envisioned clearly, can be made reality. The older roots of vision meant to know and in English, the word was wise. So, if we wish to make something real, we must first see it within to know it.

True vision comes first from our ability to look within and see the landscape there, for we only perceive how much room is open before us based on the room we see within. If the amount of room within is a closed-in space, then our ability to see the space outside will directly reflect that, despite all objective evidence to the contrary.

This internal vision is also where foresight stems from. We will run events through this internal landscape to see how they play out. From this, we then make decisions about what will come. It is our personal baseline that determines how accurate our internal play of events are. The more we are able to remove ourselves, in terms of bias, from what we perceive, then the more accurate the depiction. If we are also able to know our abilities in terms of affecting events, then we can introduce ourselves into the mix, but the more we do, the less we will know.

Vision is the framework of our reality and our future history which only comes from what we have learned from in the experiences in our lives. The lessons of our lives and the lives of others are gifts: We lend our lessons to others and they lend their lessons to us and it is possible to expand our visions through the borrowing of lessons from others.
