Getting Your Medical Marijuana Card in Missouri

First, you must qualify by being at least 18 and a resident of the state. Second, you must schedule an in-person appointment or an appointment via a telehealth platform like that offered at MDBerry.

During your appointment, a licensed physician will find out if you have one of the conditions deemed treatable with medical marijuana and if cannabis is a good option for you. If so, he or she will recommend you and you can then register with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for your card. It will arrive in the mail 30 days after approval and is valid for one year. Caregivers may also apply for medical marijuana cards and can use them to purchase or cultivate medical cannabis for up to three patients in their care.
