How to Get Medical Marijuana in Rhode Island 

To legally buy medical marijuana in Rhode Island or to legally grow your own marijuana, you must obtain an mmj card from the state. To do this, you must be 18 years of age or older and be able to verify your citizenship with a driver’s license or state-issued ID card. If you are a caregiver for an individual under 18 or one who cannot purchase his or her own cannabis, you can buy medical marijuana if you are 21 years or older and qualify for an ID card.
